Images are for educational/reference use and may not represent current inventory.
What ships: one 2 oz ultra high relief Osiris round, two troy ounces of .999 fine silver. The dark finish is the mint's intended antique patina, not tarnish or wear — do not clean or polish it. This is a private-mint round, so it carries no face value and is not IRA eligible.

Osiris is the Egyptian god of the afterlife, shown here in the atef crown with the crook and flail crossed at his chest, a winged Eye of Horus behind him and a cartouche at his shoulder. The reverse sets a wrapped mummy against a pyramid, framed by hieroglyphic columns with the four canopic jars along the base. Both faces are struck in ultra high relief and finished with an antique patina, so the design reads like an excavated relief rather than bright bullion.
This is a collector piece more than a stacking choice. Two ounces of silver sets a floor under it, but what you are paying for is the depth of strike and the finish, and that premium follows demand for the series rather than the silver market. If your goal is ounces per dollar, a Silver Eagle or generic rounds give you far more silver for the money. Buy this one because you want the piece.

Utah exempts investment-grade precious metals from sales tax, so no sales tax is added to bullion orders like this one. Tax treatment in other states varies, and any applicable tax is calculated at checkout.
Two troy ounces of .999 fine silver, as stamped on the reverse beneath the mummy: 2 OZ .999 Ag. That is 62.2 grams of silver.
The design is struck far deeper than a standard bullion piece, so the figures stand well off the field rather than sitting nearly flat. It takes multiple strikes to raise that much metal, which is why the round is thick and why the edge is reeded and noticeably deep.
That is an antiqued finish, applied deliberately. The mint darkens the recesses so the relief reads like an excavated artifact instead of bright proof silver. It is not tarnish, wear, or damage, and it should not be cleaned — polishing an antiqued piece strips the finish and destroys the look people buy it for.
The obverse shows Osiris, Egyptian god of the afterlife, in the atef crown with crook and flail crossed at his chest, flanked by a winged Eye of Horus and a cartouche. The reverse shows a wrapped mummy before a pyramid, framed by hieroglyphic columns, with the four canopic jars along the base and the 2 OZ .999 Ag weight mark.
A round. It is struck by a private mint rather than a government one, so it carries no face value and is not legal tender anywhere. The silver content is what it is worth, plus whatever the design and finish add.
No. Privately minted rounds are excluded from self-directed IRAs regardless of fineness — the IRS requires bullion from a government mint or an accredited refiner. If you are buying silver for an IRA, buy American Silver Eagles or another sovereign bullion coin and confirm with your custodian.
Both, and the premium matters here. Two ounces of silver sets the floor, but ultra high relief antiqued rounds are produced in far smaller numbers than plain bullion and carry a design premium on top of melt. That premium follows collector demand for the series rather than the silver market, and it is not guaranteed to hold.
